Delete your account.
This is for FindMyCrapp (findmycr.app). You can delete your account yourself inside the app, and if you can’t get into the app, you can ask us to do it. No sign-in needed to use this page.
In the app — fastest, and instant
Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete my account, and confirm twice. That’s it — it happens immediately, and you don’t need to contact us.
Can’t get into the app? Ask us
If you’ve uninstalled it, lost the phone, or can’t sign in, email us from the address you signed up with so we can find the account:
Say that you want your account deleted. You don’t need to explain why. If you’ve lost access to that mailbox too, write from any address and give us enough detail to identify the account — we may ask you something only you would know.
If you own a household other people are still in, say so in the email. That normally has to be sorted out in the app first (the third case below), but if you can’t get in, we can move ownership to another member or remove them on your behalf so the deletion can go ahead. We’ll confirm we’ve got your request, and again when the deletion is done — within 30 days of us being able to proceed, and usually the same week.
What deletion actually does
It depends on whether you share a household, so here are all three cases rather than a summary that’s only true for some of them.
In every one of those cases where the account is deleted, your sign-in credentials are removed — you will not be able to log in again, and nothing is left “deactivated” waiting for you to come back.
What we keep, and why
Billing records. Once paid plans exist, subscription events are kept with the reference to you removed, for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. They’re financial records rather than anything about your home. There aren’t any yet — paid plans aren’t open.
